Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and commitment to increasing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services for the duration of an engagement together with the company's senior administrators at a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing eighty one% of the registered pupils from the schooling sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
